A short storm can create so much damage! We were mesmerized by the weather crossing the lake but couldn’t believe the impact when it hit.

If you are wondering why we don’t have a tent right now or why the deck is closed, we wanted to share these before, during, and after pictures with you.

The tent was destroyed, the deck awning damaged beyond repair, and the deck on the house used as our offices will need to be rebuilt. We also lost some outdoor furniture, wine glasses, and letters from our new sign.

The good news is that our initial survey of the vineyard revealed little damage. Most importantly, no one was hurt.

Our tasting room and outdoor bar are clean (sans tent for now) and open for business regular hours. We would definitely appreciate your visit and hope to see you!
