Nigel was born in England and during his late teens he developed an insatiable wanderlust, and eventually traveled to 56 countries before settling in the USA at age 21.  Soon after he was given his first camera at the age of 14, he began to feel a deep passion for recording the details of his surroundings. It soon became apparent that he was more moved by the smaller scenes that lay at his feet than wide sweeping landscapes, and over the years his "eye" for small details became his style of photography. Nigel's favorite area to photograph is the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.

His photographs tend to be moody and dramatic and even sensual to some, and those emotions are the same ones he feels while patiently searching out a particular emotion to capture.
